Horween® CHROMEXCEL®
Chromexcel leather is made using proprietary techniques and formulas that were developed over 100 years ago in a factory still that's owned and operated by the Horween family in Chicago.
This leather stands out and can be characterized by a rich pull-up in full aniline, hand-rubbed finish, superior comfort, and durability. Chromexcel has become famous because of its patina, which is the unique character of which each shoe's color will adapt with wear.
TRIPLE DENSITY INSOLES COMBINES MODERN INSOLE TECHNOLOGY:
Each layer of our Triple-Density Bamboo lined insoles has a purpose. The bamboo attacks odor and sweat! The Techno-sponge wicks moisture and improves surface breathability. The Poron XRD® layer is soft but absorbs 99% of impact energy when hit hard! The Medical Grade Poron® won’t bottom out to create that walking on a yoga mat feeling!

Repairable Construction
Known by many names, the McKay aka Littleway aka Blake Stitch method is a stitch down construction where the sole stitching appears on the foot side of the insole and on the outsole bottom. This method wraps the upper leather around underneath the foot for more comfort and flexibility. The seam may sometimes be hidden in a groove on the sole’s bottom to minimize
any abrasion from the stitching. The machine that does this stitching is very specialized and requires a special Littleway bobbin
